No signal

I Hace had my phone just over a year and have suddenly lost signal,  sim works in another phone so must be phone rather than sim.

Surely a phone should last longer than a year? Any suggestions how to fix it? I have tried all the stages as suggested on here including factory reset and no joy!!

Hi @Nic James  no, as long as your phone is still covered by your manufacturer warranty, and there is no physical damage, there will be no charge.

Hi @Nic James  I am sorry to hear that your phone is not working as it should.
Your phone is covered by a manufacturer warranty, the length depends on the model. Apple is 12 months, most others are 24 months. If there is no physical damage to the phone (such as a crack or liquid damage) then we will be able to assist you with getting it checked.
Please take your phone into any Currys store. We will then be able to assess your phone, and if we can't fix it there and then, we can send it off to be repaired at our Repairs Centre.
We would advise that you back up your phone and keep hold of any SIM and/or memory cards you may be using in the phone.
When we repair your phone, it should take no longer than 14 days. However, if we need to send your phone to the manufacturer directly, this can take up to 28 days. Additionally, subject to availability, we may have a loan phone we could lend you. This way you would not be without a phone, whilst you wait for yours to be repaired.
I hope this helps.

Thank you, will I have to pay for this service? And I have put the sim in my old phone at the moment so at least I can have some use
