no sound for outgoing calls and not receiving incoming calls

Both our Samsung phones have had issues over the last few weeks where a person can’t hear us on incoming calls or they go straight to voicemail and outgoing calls do not always connect or show as calling but no ring tone

I’ve changed the setting to/from wireless calls and this makes no difference

 

Has anyone got any ideas/Solutions?

Hi ​@MandyJH1966  sorry to hear this.

  • Can you please check if 4G VoLTE calling is enabled on your device:
    • Open Settings
    • Tap Connections
    • Tap Mobile Networks
    • Tap 4G Calling
    • Ensure 4G Calling is set to ON

Hi Sian,

I don’t have the following options

  • Tap 4G Calling
  • Ensure 4G Calling is set to ON

But I do have VoLTE calls SIM1 - Use LTE data networks for calls whenever possible and this is set to ON

OK ​@MandyJH1966  Are you sure the iD Mobile SIM card is the one being used in the device? If an eSIM or previously on an eSIM, it may be worth checking your SIM settings to ensure old SIMs are deleted.

Hi Sian,

Yes, it is…...I only have an ID mobile SIM card, it’s not an eSIM and I’ve never had an eSIM
