no sound for outgoing calls and not receiving incoming calls

Both our Samsung phones have had issues over the last few weeks where a person can’t hear us on incoming calls or they go straight to voicemail and outgoing calls do not always connect or show as calling but no ring toneI’ve changed the setting to/from wireless calls and this makes no difference Has anyone got any ideas/Solutions?Thanks
