phone service down

As of 25th June 2025 I have been unable to make or receive calls since 0800hrs it's now past 12 and still nothing , I've tried to reach out via live chat that doesn't work either. I am missing very important phone calls and I cannot even return them calls cause their not even a dial tone. It's silent. What on earth is going on that's nearly 5 hours my phone been down & nothing from ID informing us of any outages or even an apology. Their website & Voice call services are both down.

Having same problem in Burnley area ,can only make calls if I move a long way from my home ,ID site saying no problems

Yes I'm Blackburn and cannot make any calls what's so ever , ID mobile website says to go through all settings ect done all that wasted my time cause nothing is wrong this end. It's their end. It also says check current bills ect I've got 23, days left before it's due payment so that's nothing to do with it. I'm so angry they shouldn't be allowed to do this it's not first time and i actually changed mobile phones couple months back and SIM card  because of this very problem. Yet I'm tied into contract now and can't just leave yet we don't have access to use our phone service. It's uncalled for and everybody needs compensating for the disruption it's happening too often to all paying customers.

same problem in Cotswolds for me and my husband …….both working from home, absolute nightmare

It's shocking isnt it, in this day and age it is not what we expect as paying customers. It's been happening all year I changed my entire phone and SIM card because of this same problem & it's happened again proving it's them not the customer. I actually can't leave either as I'm tied into contract now. They are not helping customers at all.

It really is, we’re also on contract and the service has been really disappointing … don't know what to do as we cannot work like this, it’s absolutely unacceptable

I'm in blackburn still nothing working. It is a nightmare I'm on my second phone and SIM card because of this fault happening couple months back I got new SIM and phone thinking it was my fault at my side. For this to happen again I'm absolutely disgusted I lost a phone and SIM card cause of this problem & now I'm tired into contract I can't even leave ID without paying them out which I'm not in a position to do. It's shocking we cannot contact a customer service either. I I've been trying since 8am and nothing.

Totally agree it is unacceptable. Especially for those working from home using phone service for their jobs.  I know people who use 3 network and they are fine but other networks are also down. Given all that's going on in the world makes me think it's a cyber attack

apparently the 3 network is down and that's what is causing it...someone just messaged me, started at 7.45 this morning. I’ve tried everything suggested on the website but nothing has helped and chatbot was useless as expected.

it would have been better if we’d been notified by text or email…..rather than having to spend hours trying to find out if it’s just us or a bigger issue. I’m assuming it is related to the 3 network problem??

Yes I read the same thing. I don't believe they are communicating with customer accordingly and leaving us all to search the internet and sites for answers. Then obviously their website goes down because they are being inundated with customers. Which is expected. It's a complete joke still nothing it's been down 6 an half hours already and still doesn't seem to be working. Its affecting my text messages now I'm getting them all delayed by hours.

All back up and running now I reset my phone and it's working . For now

Please pass this on to whoever needs to hear it…… we all accept that things go wrong from time to time, but what is especially frustrating is not being told what is happening or updated, particularly when you check your service status and it says that nothing is wrong!!.

A brief text message sent to everyone stating that there is an outage and it is being dealt with would make life so much easier… instead of leaving us to search the internet and social media trying to find out if it’s just us, if it’s a problem locally, who we need to notify etc etc
