Mobile data is generally quite poor everywhere and unusable in London in particular. My daughter who's also on ID doesn't have the same issues.... I have good signal, just no connectivity. Does my sim need resetting/reconnecting to the network?

To rule out the SIM you could pop into your nearest Currys and simply ask them for a replacement, they’re free. You’d then need to activate this new SIM via the app or online account portal.

Or, you could try your SIM in your daughters phone before doing anything. If it works fine in hers then it could be your phone or settings on your phone. Maybe even try your daughters SIM in your phone. Again to see if its the phone.

I ciuld only post this by joining WiFi, even with almost full signal on 4g (pixel 9 Pro)

Hey there @Drwig, sorry to hear that.

Can you provide us with some full postcodes you’re having issues in please?

Thanks,

Regent street/bond street/Leicester Square in London. However, the strange thing is my daughter, also on ID, doesn't have an issue. My signal strength is strong on the whole, but doesn't seem to work!

Just to add to this, I’ve visited London twice in the past 6 months and my mobile internet is virtually useless there.

And it’s fine elsewhere @Waseemsc?

It could well be a case of congestion within London if it was only there where you have this problem. The issue for us mere customers is that 3UK’s service status and coverage checker don’t tell us about congestion. Other service providers sites do give out more useful info.
