poor phone signal

Hi, I've recently moved to IDMobile from Giffgaff. However, now my signal coverage at home is very poor and callers constantly say I'm breaking up when talking.

This is rather frustrating, is there a way to fix this?

My postcode is LS18 4AW

Thanks, Tom

If you took the contract out direct with iD then you have 30 days to cancel.

If you took out a phone too you’d need to factory reset it and return it at your cost (used a signed for as proof)

And you’d have to pay for the usage up until the time you cancel. Then if you brought your number over to iD the iD SIM would revert to a non functioning PAYG SIM giving you 30 days to port that number away.

Hi @Tomu

Taking a look there could be some patchy spots in that area, this may well be causing the issues with calling.

How is signal in other areas?

Hi Tom, thanks for the reply. The signal can be patchy, depending on network provider. Do you know if there are any updates/installs available to improve the signal?

Hi @Tomu,

I can’t see any work due in the area.

It’s likely that it is the expected coverage in the area.

Does coverage improve outside and away from home?

Hi Kash, coverage is mostly fine outside my home.

Is it possible to cancel contract due to poor coverage?
