Question

Poor quality calls.

My wife and I both have S22 phones. Hers is an ultra. We joined iD a quite a few months back, and everything was excellent.  However, recently, e have noted  that thequality of phone calls has dropped dramatically. We constantly get only one bar, but if we are llucky, it occasionally rises to two bar, but for a short time. It's very frustrating especially during important calls. Sometimes the network will simply end the call. Can anyone help?? We are in the Exeter area.

@Captin Fancypants  I fully understand your frustration there can be many factors for this coverage.

Like decommission of 3G mask, maintenance work, outage, malfunction of equipment etc etc.

As both phone's where working fine until this problem I be lead to believe it's a network problem.

Have either of you checked the network status checker?

Hi Joe. Thanks for your reply. Yes I have used the coverage checker and it say there is no issues in our area. We have noticed the poor call quality when talking to our son (who is also on iD) but we thought it was due to where he was as he said he always has poor reception.  However we recently noticed our phones are only showing one bar, this is with the phones on 4G or 5G. I'm not sure if 3G has been turned off in our area, I'll need to check that. It seems to me there must be some sort of connection issue as there is so many people on here with the same problems. Also we have never used an eSIM.
