Question

poor reception

I have just moved to a different post code and the phone reception is practically non existent. I usually have good reception in all areas but at my new home location I do not have good reception. Is there a reason for this?

Different areas have different coverage. This is standard across the UK. Try living in Wales. I have to have 2 SIM cards on different networks to maximise my coverage.

Hi @GraemeS

I’m sorry to hear this, please could you let us know the postcode(s) where you’re having issues?

Coverage will vary place to place, your previous home may have had a good signal, that unfortunately doesn’t mean your new home will.

Hi Tom, I've always had a good reception in most areas. We have just moved to Hessle in East Yorkshire near to the Humber bridge and reception is terrible. Our new post code is HU130TS. It's a new build so the post code may not be recognised yet.

Hi @GraemeS

Unfortunately you are correct, we cannot see the postcode of HU13 0TS on our system so we cannot check the coverage in the area, sorry about this.

Hi Tom, the nearest post code to me is HU13 0JL. Can you tell what coverage is at this postcode?

Hi @GraemeS

Unfortunately we don’t have any information for that postcode either, sorry.

If I can't get a good reception can I leave my id contract early

I have three contracts for my family and having no reception is unacceptable. Is there any way to get good reception?

Hey there @GraemeS, have you tried resetting your network settings?

Thanks,

Tyler
