Poor Signal and want to leave ID Mobile

I was with Tesco Mobile and seriously regret moving across. Before I moved across, I checked my areas signal and was shown 5G and 4G were good within my area. But this is far from the truth, I barely get one bar on my Google Pixel 8a living in the PO11 postcode.

I seriously regret moving across but am stuck with ID Mobile unless I fork out £200+ to buy out my contract. I feel ripped off as the promised service doesn’t match the actual service.

Hi there @ryanbwebb, I can see that Three UK are currently working on fixing an issue in this area at the moment. We're sorry for any disruption this may be causing.

We hope to have things fixed as soon as possible and will add any updates here.

How long have you had issues for?

Thanks,

Tyler

If I'm honest pretty much from the get go! I put it down to teething issues from the transfer but I've gone from answering my phone in my house to legging it up the road when I get a call, so I can have a conversation.

It's really poor and just so disappointed with the whole service. Feels like what was promised was not sold

Hey there @ryanbwebb, we’re sorry to hear that. As with any network, there can at times be issues we look to resolved ASAP.

Have you reported this to us prior to now?

Has to gotten better, worse, or the same?

Thanks,

Tyler

No this is the first time I've reported it. It got to the point where my kid was ill and had to make phone calls to the doctors that meant having to leave the house and walk down the road to make it.

That I thought this couldn't be right and looked online to see it others had experienced similar issues. It hasnt got worse but it's never been good. I literally am waiting for the leaving fee to drop down and im off. It's absolutely terrible. In 2025 I would have thought this wouldn't have been an issue, especially when Tesco Mobile could service the area fine

If you purchase the service directly from iD Mobile (either through their website or by calling their telesales team), you have 30 days to try it out and can cancel without any penalties. Why did you not do this?

Like I said I put it down to both teething issues with the crossover and also reception issues like there is currently.

In addition when I'm at home I get most of my Comms through email or WhatsApp both run off the WiFi and so it was on the occasion that I got the phone calls (which I don't get many) that I noticed the issue.

Hi @ryanbwebb, as mentioned, there is work on-going in the area at this moment in time. I’d recommend raising with our live-chat and ask them to contact our technical team for an ETA on the on-going work:

Thanks,
