I’ve had this contract about 3 months now and my data speed is dreadfully slow. To the point where it even struggles to play music from iTunes. Any ideas??

Hi there @Andy1987

Any ideas??

Well you could pop your postcode in here to see if there’s any known issues:

And popping your postcode in here too will show the estimated coverage for your area - it defaults to 4G, simply toggle between 3G and 5G

Hi @Andy1987

I’m sorry to hear this, how long have you had these issues?

Are these issues everywhere you go or just certain locations?

Tom

I’ve had the issues ever since I got the phone. Just lately they’re a lot worse. Yeah it’s everywhere I go. At home it’s literally none existent and at work it’s the same.

I’ve done all this and it says I have 4g at home and 5g at work. But if WiFi isn’t turned on it doesn’t work.

Thanks for confirming that Andy.

In that case, assuming your phone shows a low signal strength, I’d have to say It’s probably going to be the signal quality, as I’ve got similar issues with 4G (I have no 5G available here yet). Mine started around the end of April and has continued to go downhill since, so I know exactly what you’re going through.

Also, if 3G is not showing at either your home or work it might be worth having a read of this:

Some other customers whom have 5G available are reporting the same as you so it isn’t just 4G.

BUT, it would be worth having a punt at a replacement SIM. You can pick one up from Currys (no cost). You would then need to activate it, which can be done via the app or online portal.
