Absolute rubbish signals on this network. Both me and my wife changed to this network thinking it was a better deal. But paying for a service that in the main drops out when we’re at home is very expensive. Does anyone else have similar issues? I ask the question thinking I already know the answer.

They’re not allowed to disallow MVNO connections on the new network
People on ID mobile are noticing new network access happening in their area, that they didn’t have before, mainly B20 at 15Mhz
Perhaps because of the “Within just two weeks, through sharing of combined spectrum, 7 million Three and SMARTY customers will receive a 20% average speed boost on 4G.” statement from VodafoneThree - although news item doesn’t appear to mention other MVNO companies.

NVMO’s should be given access, it doesn’t mention it there as Smarty is owned by Three
Well, months on since my initial post and today I was sat in my garden trying to get a signal. Never mind 5G. I could only get 3G, and with a poor signal at best. Absolutely garbage reception in these modern times. I’m not sure where this Vodafone merger is. Bring on the end of my contract .

Hi, yes it has been poor since the start of my contract. My wife also has the same contract which is also just as bad. I’ve had my contract since 07/07/24

Okay, all iD Mobile plans have a cooling off period at the beginning of the contract, in which if you find the coverage isn’t suitable for you, you’re able to return based on that.

I wanted to add, I recently visited Lancaster and the coverage there was awful, especially for a bit city. Virtually no 5G anywhere and poor 4G in buildings. For example, LA1 1LH, 1 bar signal inside and unable to use data. LA1 1RQ, 1-2 bars inside, very slow network speed. Tried restarting device, switching to 4G, moving around. Really disappointing and no evidence of sharing a signal with Vodafone (which I know has good coverage at these locations). Incidentally, I get excellent coverage at my home and work locations in Blackpool.
