Updated software for A52 today ,

Samsung April 2025 .

Now I have no service it is like the sim card has been blocked,  but my sim card works on my backup phone. 

Anybody have a solution?

Have you tired a phone reboot? Do you have an E-SIM or a physical SIM?

Yes , after talking and going through all the settings with Samsung,  and after a full factory reset it's still not letting me make phone calls or txt or mobile data . 

I've put the sim card in my back up phone got no problems

My advice would be to try the SIM in the "other" SIM card slot,ie within the section where the SD card could go.I have seen that work on Samsung phones a few times There is no rhyme or reason to it,it just sometimes does.

Failing that,get in touch with ID and ask th m to send you a QR code for an esim.i personally would ring 0333 003 7777 from another phone.Just an idea

Alternatively you can take the handset into any Currys store where they can have a check of it and help get everything up and running for you.

Hi 

  • sandycroftone my phone only has one slot for sim and sd card .

  • The sim card is fine it's the phone what has the problem.
