signal not working

I’ve recently moved to ID mobile, and since the switch I’ve been having trouble with my signal.
it’s showing good strong signal with 4/5G, however when making calls or trying to load social media, it does work.
When I call someone they say it either sounds robotic or they cannot hear me at all… this happens on most of the calls I make.
I’ve tried turning the phone on/off, on airplane mode, I went into phone settings and fully reset the network settings, I’ve turned the provider off automatic, selected a random one, then gone back to automatic (to ID) and still, nothing works.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I could deal with the data not being the best, but I really need my phone calls up and running.

Hi @Flissgregory,

Welcome to the Community!

If you can’t see any issues in the area it may be a handset or SIM issue.

I would advise trying the SIM in a different handset and a replacement SIM.

You can collect a replacement SIM from your local Curry’s store.

Sounds like your old service provider’s mobile network was better for you, @Flissgregory

Are you using a handset that’s been approved for the iD network?

Okay @Flissgregory, perhaps you’re using your handset in the Midlands area where Three UK (the iD network partner) have shutdown their 3G mobile network.

Within this area, with iD Mobile, you’ll only be able to use 4G and 5G network services for calls, texts, and data. Other topics in this forum, appear to suggest some iD customers in this area are finding services difficult or impossible to use.

Nope, we are in North Yorkshire 🤦🏼‍♀️, but even so, my network (phone calls) isn’t working, not just my data

Could be a network fault in your area, @Flissgregory
