Hi , I have two contacts with ID Mobile , 

One nearly 2 years old , One just over a year old … The Minute i leave home (connected via WiFi) i cannot for the life of me connect to the internet on either phone , have trouble receiving and making calls , and issues sending SMS … anyone know how I can make a proper complaint about this as iD mobile get £70 a month off me and my phone only really seems to work on WiFi , which I obviously pay someone else for!

So if the phone is fine indoors over WiFi, yet a pain when you’re out, this could be related to:

Hi Daz .. thanks for replying , 

 

no that’s no use .. its the signal on this network it generally floats between 0 and 1 bar , there is a 5g mast over the road from my house but my phone has picked up a 5g signal once since i have had it

Ah yes. We’re both in a similar boat then @Graham123 

3G was turned off here to make way for 4G ‘improvements’, 4G is virtually unusable and 5G is light years away for me here too.

Obviously I’m assuming you’ve done you due diligence and had a passing glance at these:

Sadly for me Daz … i live across the road from a 5G mast … I am literally 5 mins away from a city centre so i can’t fathom why it doesn’t work
