Sudden failure of a telephone service to call abroad

I’ve been using a telephone service for a while to call a friend in China - it gives me an 0203 number to use that links to her Chinese number. It has been working fine for ages. I changed my iD plan in December though it was the same service, but since May I’ve been unable to connect.

Im not sure that it’s from the other end as the “Sorry, the call cannot be connected at this time” is only in English and it was in English and Mandarin when I’ve had automated messages before.

Ive attempted to contact the service I’ve been using, but I’m yet to get a response.

Does anyone know where the fault may lie?

    Is this happening with all numbers from China or just one number?

    Hi Anika,

    Sorry, couldn’t get into my account. It’s only one number in China, though I have also tried calling direct and it also doesn’t work.

    I used the cheap call service to call Grenada and the US and those calls connected fine.
