terrible data speed and signal

Have terrible signal in the BN16 area. 1 bar of signal indoors and 2 outdoors.

5g is non existent outdoors. 
4g outdoors is terrible and only get around 2mbps

 

Absolutely horrendous and locked into a 12 month contract. Have had to get a second sim to use the data on that

@huw118  Has this issue recently started to happen?

So you have a second sim only used for data and that work's, well this sounds like a device issue.

There may be maintenance work or faults within this Postal area have you checked to see if there are any known issues in this area. Look here

@huw118 just an FYI but on your side -  I’m experiencing the same issue - just a different postcode - the handset cannot be the issue! I have had to buy a second sim from a different provider whilst I try and get out of my contract. The ID data  network coverage is poor. There are loads of posts on this subject! If you are in the cooling off period - just cancel.

It has been the same since I joined ID mobile.

 

my second sim is with EE and works perfectly fine. I have 4g and 5g with them.

 

there has been a maintenance issue since I first joined in my area. It’s absolutely shocking service and totally pointless using my ID sim!

 

I also received a weird email regarding this question from a gmail account. I’m assuming it is not a genuine ID customer service employee?

Are you having issues everywhere you go or when in other areas is signal better?

Taking a look the area of BN1 6LD is subject to an outage at this time, Three UK are aware and are actively working on a fix, apologies for any inconvenience caused.

 

How long have you had these issues here?
