I have replaced the sim - turned off/on, airplane mode, been advised it might be 3G switch however a friend on ID still had service when they were in the same location as me. Was able to make/receive calls when first switched the sim. Took sim out and replaced back in - was able to make calls for a little while and now back to unable to make calls. I’m in DE4

It sounds like it may be a SIM card issue and you require a replacement SIM.
Before doing this please can you test your SIM in another handset?

Yes - I’ve been through all the troubleshooting suggestions. It works in some locations and others it seems to not hook onto LTE via 4G

Have you tried your iD Mobile SIM card in another handset?
If your friend also on iD Mobile isn’t experiencing the same thing as you are, this could be an issue with the device.

I’ve just had iPhone 12 couple of months and every 2 weeks can’t make or receive calls got to turn off and on to work could it be handset can’t get to speak to anyone so frustrating

Have you tested the SIM in another device when the issue occurs?
It seems like the handset may be faulty but a replacement SIM can be tested first.
