unable to receive calls on iphone 16pro

Hi, I just bought an iPhone 16pro and switched to ID Mobile with an E-sim. Today they completed the switch but I am unable to receive phone calls. I am currently abroad (Italy). 
can you please help?

    Your number will still port over to iD as usual on the date you’ve chosen, but it may not work abroad, as you need to be in the UK for the SIM to begin working correctly.

     

    They usually advise to complete a port when in the UK to avoid any problems.

    I also have the same issue in the UK.  Technical team recommended a  change to physical SIM today which they will post to your address. I secured one today from a Curry Store which hasn’t resolved the issue but you may have more luck.
