unusably slow network speed

Over the past 2 weeks my average network speed has been declining and now I have hit the point where it is preventing me from working. I work from home and cant afford a proper broadband setup, and so rely on an unlimited data SIM with iD. frequently I have no internet access, or simple browser pages take minutes to load, messages can take up to 5mins to send (or just dont) and so on. Why is this happening? I need this rectifying as it is quite literally costing me amounts of money I can't afford through lost work.

(find attached the lowest and highest data speeds I have logged today. both are pretty awful)

fun  addendum: it took over half an hour to post this  as the internet was so slow the image upload kept

failing

Probably a grey area @Mr Barnaby Fryer, but the iD Mobile terms say their network services are for personal use only.

Maybe time to abandon iD Mobile, and switch to mobile network with better indoor reception at your location.

Aye but the decline was so rapid and recent, and even for personal use this is beyond useable in any reasonable capacity

Oh dear, it does sound like it’s time to jump ship, @Mr Barnaby Fryer

Hey there @Mr Barnaby Fryer, we're very sorry to hear you're having issues with coverage.

Please take a look at our coverage checker, which will show you what your signal strength should be like in your area, for all of 3G/4G/5G, for both indoors and outdoors.

https://www.idmobile.co.uk/help-and-advice/coverage#coverage-info

Furthermore, please take a look at our network partner Three's network status checker, which will show if there is any maintenance or performance upgrades going on in your area. If the website states that's the case, then it's likely that this is disrupting your coverage, and we hope that this is resolved soon for you.

https://www.three.co.uk/support/network_and_coverage/network_support

Please take a look at both of these. If you believe you should be experiencing better signal than you are, or if the networks status checker on Three's website isn't showing any upgrades or maintenance, then please do let us know or contact us via our live-chat:

https://www.idmobile.co.uk/live-chat

Have you also tried some of the troubleshooting methods below?

Please also try restarting your phone, and resetting network settings.

Thanks,

Tyler
