I’m experiencing a similar issue and not getting a fix/response from ID Mobile. Looks to be an issue with the 3G disconnection from Three and doesn’t appear to be getting addressed anytime soon.

I would put in a compliant under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for the lack of service and choose another sim network. Vodafone and EE networks have already completed their 3G switch off.

Hi, I can't make or receive calls, sometimes it works then cuts off. I have 4G, it's the same phone and SIM that I have since joining the network. I can get and send text, WhatsApp and messenger. It has been like this for a couple of days. If it can't be fixed I will have to join another network because I need my phone

Me too I was on live chat on Tuesday evening for 5 hours and yesterday 3 hours and still can't receive or make calls

Automated calls are a joke 😃 I literally had to answer same questions about 20 times

Technician supposed to fix with in 48 hours 😒

Different agent on certain chat so it's repeat repeat Like everyone else I need my phone

Same issue here live chat is rather useless, can I leave contract without early exit fee if the provider is not providing the service? This issue is only affecting me at home and in certain locations yet texts and internet is fine. Secondary phone(same model) with Three sim works without issues… its not my phone its IDmobile. Cant really afford to spend hours on a useless chat repeating myself. Already done the given steps yes all of them multiple times. Not happy.

No; it’s an online provider, Try CHAT.

If 3g has been switched off in your area, you’ll need a 4g compatible phone of course.

Typing something in Red font doesnt make you sound extra clever.. just saying

Like others have mentioned I have 2 contracted phones with ID and both have 4G/5G capatibility.. followed the instructions given to me + followed contacted the live chat which ill just put it out there were useless.. 70 minutes waiting to chat plus 10 minute messages inbetween and you cannot ring anyone from customer service.. if this isnt sorted i will be changing networks.. not being able to use phones for hospital appointments, to contact childrens schools and everyday life is just ridicolous.. if the customer service was better it would at least lessen the blow but they are about as useful as a chocolate fireguard

It's getting right on my tits, constantly being told I need 4g, like I'm an idiot. I've had 4g for years. This is just a major cover up. The fact that all these companies refuse to speak to us but are willing to take our money...🤬

There's no such thing as customer service any more.

Not if you use another carrier 🤠

For Iphones: I have managed to fix it on my Iphone…. If you are using an Iphone with IOS18 open settings, select apps, scroll down and select phone, and where it says “My number” type your number starting with a 0(zero). Then click save. Try to make a phone call. Worked for me straight away.

Well done. Looks like a good fix for iPhone users.

Hi @goognoog,

Welcome to the Community!

Have you checked that your handset has VoLTE enabled?

It’s also worth testing your SIM in a different handset to see if that improves things.

Iv followed all steps given by ID testing sim in other phones, cleaning sim, changing settings, turning off WiFi, turning on/off flight mode, resetting phone, upgrading phone and nothing helps.

Currently waiting for a new sim card so we'll see if that helps if not then I'm stumpt

Sim worked ok in another phone. As for VoLTE, my phone doesn't have that option.

It's a OnePlus 5t

Thank you for all your replies. All resolved now.  Apparently my phone, pixel 3a, was not compatible with 4g so new phone was purchased.
