I placed an upgrade order on the 29th of December and on the website it states the delivery date is 31st of December. In the confirmation email I was sent it was written that the delivery date is 23rd of January!!

Would anyone know why???

ID/DPD are scammers they won’t deliver and you’ll be stuck in contract with no phone! AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU CAN CANCEL DO SO!!! Read all complaints by consumers!!

Hello @Hammo1323

We are sorry you feel this way.

I have replied to your post on a separate thread and we can pick this up with you from there.

Thanks

Your not sorry, we phone your customer service and get no help what so ever. One even put phone down when we were just trying to find out what was going on and when we would receive phone and SIM.

left with no phone and no service after your delivery service DPD stole the phone and did not deliver! There are lots of other posts on this site from other customers with same issue going back a long time!!

no one wants to help, we have been left lost without service which you are making us pay when we have no device or SIM?????

@Hammo1323 I have gone through a similar process with iD recently where I ordered a handset via contract and I am being made to pay for the contract despite the fact that the handset was not delivered to me as I received an entirely different phone. When I took it up with the ombudsman due to the fact that I received a deadlock letter, they won the case leaving me with no resolution as they provided “warehouse footage” which was two cropped screenshots of them packing the correct phone. I am going to take this to the Small Claims Court soon for breach of consumer rights. It is ridiculous.

Hi @Leyton,

I feel your pain. It is ridiculous and just not on. The amount of worry and stress these companies Curry’s/Carphone Warehouse/DPD and ID mobile put us through all when we are just trying to order a new phone and contract. This should be a simple process as it always has been with any of the decent mobile phone providers. They know DPD staff are stealing the phones for many years and yet have done nothing about it. The evidence is there for all to see in the reviews for all these companies. Why is senior management still approving using DPD as a delivery service? Is gross negligence of the highest order and a scam they must all be involved in.
They need to be thoroughly investigated by the government. Good luck with your case in Small Claims court hope you win and get compensated and out of there corrupt contract! I feel we’ll be going down the same route. It’s ridiculous and disgusting behaviour. Still have not sorted our issue and partner has been left with no phone but a contract for service she can’t use as has no sim which they switched her number to. It’s effecting her job and health, I’ll be writing to their head office and local MP!!

I feel for you @Leyton ! Good luck in Small Claims Court I really hope and pray you win!
These corrupt companies need investigating by the authorities!

I feel I’ll be following you down the same route! It is ridiculous and, I guess how you may now feel, I wish I had never had the misfortune of using these companies!
