I ordered a Google Pixel 9 Pro on 9 November. Two weeks and 8 attempted deliveries later, I don’t have it. I guess my question is, what on earth is going on? Why have ID mobile not given DPD my correct contact details? Here’s what has happened:
- 9 Nov: I order the phone
- 10 Nov: DPD arrives but I’m not in
- 11 Nov: Driver goes to the wrong house. DPD say they'll come again but the order goes back to ID
- 12 Nov: Organise a redelivery with ID but they give the DPD an incorrect phone number and no email address for them to contact me
- Since then, there have been five more attempts from DPD to deliver but every single time I have not been sent the PIN. The only tracking number and PIN I have received have been for the first two attempted deliveries. I can get the delivery person to resend a PIN but the phone number is incorrect.
I have spoken to both DPD and ID Mobile support numerous times and I have nothing. I have escalated this with ID but for some reason I need to wait 6 days for a response.
