problems with dpd courier


Yesterday I was due to have my new upgrade delivery. So I waited in and cancelled plans. Next thing I know i get an email saying im sorry you were not home, calling card has been left. Opened the image and the drive had took the photo in his van. Delivery not even attempted. They re schedule a delivery for today and it's now changed to Monday. I am out Monday to Friday so chances are it will now be missed again. 

Its a new build area but clear instructions were left for the driver. Its frustrating that an attempt wasn't even made. Or a phone call to help find me like the other couriers often do.

@Looloo23  The fact it's frustrating it doesn't matter if it DPD, Royal Mail, Amazon you leave clear instructions and your made arrangements to wait in for them not to even knock on your door or call you. I had similar situations and they taken a photo and the photo not even my front door.

Your best bet is to call DPD asap and make arrangements otherwise they'll ship the item back.

Spoke with DPD a couple times now and delivery re scheduled for tomorrow. Which isn't much use when I will most likely be out and working. I've filed a complaint with dpd also. 

Don't know where the guy was but he most definitely didn't attempt my delivery.

@Looloo23  I don't know how DPD operates but you having to call them for a redelivery and telling them you're not available on the day they have suggested is pointless them coming to your address.

Well I got someone to wait at my home again today. Expanded on my instruction in the app. Tagged a what 3 words location. Same thing has happened again different driver
