My return transaction number is 442930266. I need to return my mobile phone contract before 14 days finished, but I did not receive any label to send it back yet.

The return address should be on the email @Mehran Ghanavat

Is it not provided on there?

I guess you’d just write it on the parcel yourself. And possibly require proof of postage to cover yourself in the event it became lost before they received it back.

You must return the product, together with all packaging, accessories, and included extras or free gifts. You'll have to pay for any line rental, usage, and additional purchases, such as add-ons, accrued up to the point of disconnection.

  • I purchased a new plan in-store.

Cooling-off period: 14 days (Return or Exchange). Please return your purchase to a store, not via post, within the cooling-off period.

  • I purchased an upgrade in-store.

  • I purchased a new plan on idmobile.co.uk or via the iD Mobile telephone sales team.

Cooling-off period: 30 days (Return or Exchange). Please give us notice of your cancellation within the cooling-off period and obtain a Return Transaction Number by contacting us at idmobile.co.uk/live-chat.

Please note: Do NOT send your phone to the above address. The address to send the phone that you would like to return will be provided when you receive your Return Transaction Number.

Cooling-off period: 30 days (Return or Exchange). Returning an upgrade does not result in cancellation of your plan. Providing your return meets all conditions above, the new contract term will be reversed and you will revert to your previous tariff and contract term. Please give us notice of your cancellation within the cooling-off period and obtain a Return Transaction Number by contacting us at idmobile.co.uk/live-chat.

  • I purchased from Carphone Warehouse, e2save or mobiles.co.uk

Contact the retailer directly and they’ll advise you of return options.

Hi @Mehran Ghanavat

We wouldn’t provide a postage label for you, as per the terms and conditions a return would be done at the cost of the sender, we’d recommend using a tracked service when sending a device back to us.

Why charge and demand more money via DD.

When mobile not used and returned within 14 days.

Hi there @Gary Colclough

When you returned the phone did you follow any of the above? - if so where did you buy the phone from?

And did you use a signed for returns postal service for the phone? - if you didn’t then you’d find it hard to prove you returned the phone

Have you had any emails confirming the phone was received by iD and that the contract was indeed cancelled?

Thanks for clarifying Gary

So this should apply then (copied from above)

  • I purchased a new plan on idmobile.co.uk or via the iD Mobile telephone sales team.

Sadly they don’t have a phone number for support (who’d have thought a telecommunications provider wouldn’t have one any more), so I can only suggest you contact them via their live chat quoting the returns transaction number, if you type talk to person (or speak to agent it shouldn’t matter) it should put you in direct contact with a human employee rather than their chat bot - note their human interaction times on the live chat page (and allow pops ups and cookies etc prior to chatting).

Any problems with their live chat pop back and hopefully a member of staff will take this to private message via these forums.
