sim only


Hi, I couldn't get on my id mobile app even uninstalled it & re installed it & i got a load of messages from I'd mobile, I thought my contract had run out, so I ordered a new sim only deal, sim to arrive by post next day, I did the pay 0.1p but now I think my old contract still has time left on it, I can't find any phone numbers to contact id mobile, will the new sim still replace my old sim only contract, should I just send the new sim back, or will I end up paying for both. Thanks for any help id mobile is a nightmare with no one to talk to, no customer service.

Charges for a new plan begin once the order has been dispatched, you’ll be able to get in touch with us to cancel the plan on Facebook, Twitter, Live Chat or we can get in touch here via Community if you prefer.

If you ordered a new SIM only deal with a new number then you will have an additional line. You would need to give 30 days notice to cancel your existing iD contract or port your number to another mobile network. You may incur additional charges if you are still within your minimum term.

Thank you for your reply, I should have said, I applied for another id sim and sim only & 24 month contract (upgrade ) i supose, I would have kept my own number but I've found that my original id sim only contract has still got months left on it, will I be charged for the new sim even if I don't install it into my phone, I've tried to contact id mobile to cancel the new sim but I can't get on my mobile app, or find anyone to speak to, I just don't want them to charge me for 2 sims, or should I just lose the months left on my old sim contract and install the new sim. Sorry if this sounds stupid. I can't believe that I've done this, moment of madness. THANK YOU ONE AGAIN.

Thank you Tom, I’ve just checked my bank statement & the minimal payment for a new sim doesn’t show on my account, it’s been 4 days now with no sim delivered so my order may have failed to go through anyway, while you are here could you please tell me if I’d mobile usually send a message to tell you when a sim only contract is ending, Thank you very much for your help.
