Disabling call barring

I am suddenly unable to make phone calls from my Huawei android phone and have found that outgoing call barring is activated however the phone asks for a password to disable it. I do not have a password and desperately need to call my elderly mother. Does anyone know how I sort this please?

Disabling call barring needs a password which has been set by your operator or service provider.

This would be the SIM pin and if my memory serves me right, the default sim pin for ID Mobile is “0000” although it could also be “1234”.

If neither of those codes work for you then you have changed the SIM pin and nobody here can tell you what it is (not even ID Mobile). Do as @Michelle Recommends and try the pin you use to unlock your phone.

Hello @Clare Charlesworth

Have you tried using the password that you use to unlock your phone to see if this works?
