Is it just iPhones that you are having issues sending texts to?

Hi Kash it's both Android and iPhone. Some message send then others fail

I’m having this problem too. Can send iMessages but android state they have failed but have sent several times. It also says send to email address where it used to say send by SMS when I hold on the message.

Did you join iD recently and port your number to iD?

If you did, here’s a few things you can try in order to resolve the issue:

1. Turn OFF iMessage (Settings > Messages).
2. Turn OFF FaceTime (Settings > FaceTime).
3. Turn your phone OFF for at least 10 minutes.
4. Turn ON FaceTime (Settings > FaceTime).
   Check that your mobile number is correct and ‘ticked’ under “CALLER ID”
5. Turn ON iMessage (Settings > Messages).
   Check Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and make sure your mobile number is displayed under “Start new conversations from:”. 

If that fails, try doing a Network Reset as follows (applies to iOS 15+):

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings

Doing this will delete any saved Wi-Fi networks and their passwords, which you’ve joined.

@Charlotte Mathews-Baines  can you try sending a text to your own number to see what happens?

That works, however messages again today one message sends then when sending another in same chat it fails sorry to say this beginning to become very frustrating and end having to message on WhatsApp to certain friends than do use WhatsApp and if I have a signal! please help sort this issue out been going on for a longtime now

It sounds like an issue with your settings or Chat features here as texts are being sent to your own number fine. 

Try the above that Andy suggested and let us know.
