Using allowence abroad


Hi I am really worried about going to Spain and calling home. I was under the impression that calls are from my monthly allowance. When I landed in Spain as soon as I put the phone on I had no data left??? What did I do wrong when I have an inclusive data.

I’m sorry to hear this, have you checked the iD Mobile app to check how much data you have left?

 

Are you getting calls and texts while in Spain?

 

You’ll have data while in Spain, you can check the Fair Usage data page to calculate how much you’ll get while roaming.

I'm afraid to use my phone in Spain because so many people say it costs a lot of money. Can you tell me specifically what calls are chargeable on MY account? Keith Baron

Why so uncertain? ID Mobile clearly includes EU roaming on all their plans.

Three of the four major networks charge for EU roaming now hence you may hear about it from people, but iD Mobile does NOT, unless you go over the fair usage amount listed on that page.

If you are concerned about unexpected charges, change your bill cap to a low amount and it will be impossible to run up any bill by accident, no matter if that's in the UK or abroad.
