My account has been hacked.

I think I have managed to change my password, but I cannot receive the one time passcode via text on my phone to verify. It’s emergency calls only, so I can’t even call the 7777 number to even try.

What do I do?

I have access to my daughter’s phone , so I can make a call.

Please help?

@Kate Moorcroft  Oh dear you definitely need to secure your account. I just found this info for you

Account Been Hacked

If your account has been hacked, several steps can be taken based on the information provided in the documents.

  • Contact the Live Chat Team to check if there are any changes on your account.
  • If you are unable to access your account, try dialling 7777 or 0333 003 7777 and selecting option 3 for assistance.
  • Ensure that you have unique, up-to-date passwords and avoid sharing them with anybody.
  • In cases of fraud, report the incident to Action Fraud and consider visiting a physical store for immediate assistance, such as a Currys store for a replacement SIM.
  • Be cautious of phishing attacks, which can compromise your login details, and consider using a random key generator for added security.

It is also recommended to monitor your account activity closely and report any suspicious behavior to the relevant authorities and your service provider promptly.
