Number fraudulently ported without my auntorisation

My mobile number was fraudulently ported to another network today. I reported it to ID mobile yesterday when I had a pac code sent to my phone. I was told the PAC code had been cancelled but it had not been and my number was ported today. I have been told it will take 48 hours to resolve if they are able to. In the meantime I have had to freeze bank accounts, cancel subscriptons and report it the police. I have also had a text saying I will be charged over £400 for cancelling my contract early! I am unable to log in to my work lap top due to the verification software on it that calls my mobile to verify it is me.

Hey there @Allie Mumby, we’re very sorry to hear this. We hope the kind advice from @MZone has been able to help, and we’d recommend reaching out to our live-chat ASAP to investigate this and report to our fraud teams:

I have been on the chat several times since Tuesday and just keep getting told it is with the fraud team. I have had an email from Ryan Briggs but he has not responded to my reply. It has been 3 days now and I was originally told it would be 24 hours. I urgently need my number back as per the reasons in the post above. I would like to speak to an actual person from the UK who is actually dealing with this. I do not understand how this can happen and why it is taking so long to rectify. Surely ID mobile can see where my number has been ported to, who has it and then get it ported back.  I am getting increasingly frustrated with the lack of cimmunication from this company. A criminal offence has taken place, whoever has my number could take control of everything and be using it to take out loans, credit cards, store cards the list goes on. I need this sorting today please.

Hi @Allie Mumby  we completely understand your upset and need to get this sorted ASAP.

If you have had an email from Ryan, he is part of our UK based CEO Team, they will get this all sorted and will be in touch with you soon, if they haven’t already.

I have popped them an email anyway to ask them to get in touch. They will handle your case and keep you updated.

Please keep an eye on your spam/junk incase any email goes there in error.

I have replied several times to Ryans email but had no reply. Can I please request that you send me a temporary sim card (E sim) so I have a number as this is the least that can be done. It is a bank holiday weekend this weekend so I am assuming I will be without a phone until at least next Tuesday which is not acceptable for the reasons I have stated. I have no emails in my spam or junk I am checking hourly.

Thanks.
