iD Sim activation and Port in

I am trying to register to change my new number to my old one, I have got my pac code and now know my new number. However my calls and texts off my new number are not working, and the security code that i should have been sent is not going though. Do I need to activate my sim? If so how do i do this, ps my old sim worked with my new phone so it is not the actual phones fault.

We can certainly advise you on this so we can get this working for you.

Firstly could you please try restarting your handset and try sending a text message to yourself. What happens when you try to send a text message, do you receive an error message?

Is it a new iD SIM card or a replacement that you have received? If you could try the SIM in a different handset and check if this makes a difference that would also assist us.

Let us know how you get on so we can get to the bottom of this.
