My old number didn't transfer

I changed from 3 Mobile to ID, I requested to keep my number, submitted my PAC and it was processed, but now my old number from 3 is disconnected, and only new number from ID is working. 

Why is that? How can I change it? 

I cannot afford to lose my old number.

Have you restarted your phone since the number ported over to us?

What phone are you using?
