No confirmation Email?

Hi,
I ordered a pay monthly phone online yesterday, completed the whole process online. I was then shown a message saying that I would be receiving a confirmation Email that the order had been placed, Etc.
But I have received no such Email as yet, although I have received two Emails from ID regarding a handset left in my basket (which isn't there!) and another similar Email.
Does this mean my order has not been placed or should I wait for confirmation?

Hi Jimmy, we would have expected you to hear some progress about your order so there may have been a problem processing this.
If you still haven't heard anything we'd recommend you get in touch so we can check your order.
