voicemail notification wont clear


I have ported my number from EE  TO ID, I have no voicemail messages tried everything suggested to try and remove it but it is still there. I have even turned off voicemail

Hello @What a palaver,

Sorry to hear you’re also having the same issue.

We need to just double check the issue is not related to your handset settings before we can PM to raise.

 

Can you confirm you’ve tried the following:

 

  1. Checked your voicemail
  2. Called yourself from a different number, left a voicemail message, fully listened to the voicemail and deleted it then restarted
  3. Clear the cache for the Phone app usually found by going into Settings > Apps > the finding the phone/dialler app you use to make calls with

If you've tried all these and the issue persists, let us know and we will PM you right away.

Yes I tried that before and I've just tried again, plus restarting. It still hasn't cleared I'm afraid

I have this problem but I have just joined from o2 and received a Network Provider voicemail, listened to it but no way of deleting it. Please assist. Thank you

Welcome to the Community!

You can dial 123 or your Voicemail contact if saved then you will be able to listen to your voicemail and be given the option to a) save it and move on or b) delete it.

Many thanks for your answer but it did not answer my question. I have 2 voicemails from network provider which I have listened to. This voicemail did not give an option to delete, which is usually the number 3. Plus the voicemail still says not listened too which a coloured dot

Hey @Alexander Robinson, sorry to hear it’s still an issue.

 

So to confirm, you’re unable to delete your voicemail messages, and they’re showing up as unlistened too, even when you have listened to them?

Yes, but it says ‘Network Provider Voicemail’ 2 messages. But only 1 message there. There is NOT an option to delete (usually No. 3). In number 3 now it is greetings. No.2 message to someone new. 4. Change pin and 5. Settings. And in settings it’s nearly the same as above but slightly worded differently

I am having the same ssue as above. Icon will not go away.


Hundreds of people are and I have spoken to id twice about it and they don’t have a clue how to fix it.

I have ported my number from O2 TO ID, I have no voicemail messages but Voicemail keeps telling me I have messages and a notification.  I tried everything suggested to try and remove it but it is still there. I have even turned off voicemail.  Help!  It’s very irritating 😠
