Thanks for the info 👍

Right, so your iD SIM doesn’t work in the Xperia, and you then tried the iD SIM in a Google Pixel - the latter allowed texts but not calls and receives voicemail notifications. This might have given me a clue...

The Sony Xperia 1ii is on iD’s compatible phone list so that’s a positive. Without the model number for the Pixel I can’t say, but the Pixel 3a XL, Pixel 3a, Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL will not work on iD (click on the green writing and you can check this yourself)

However, this might be related to the 3G switch off. If you put your postcode in this see if 3G has been turned off:

https://www.three.co.uk/content/experience-fragments/threedigital/uk/en/site/mvno/coverage-checker/idmobile.html

(it defaults to 4G, simply toggle it to 3G and not that this is important in your case 5G)

If 3G has now gone from your area then this is worth a read:

(the lower part for other Android phones would likely be your starting point)

If any of this did help and you still can’t make or receive calls the other thing to check is whether your number is showing correctly on either phone, but lets check the above first

Hi there @Captain (or should that be ahoy there)

Did you only take a SIM only contract with iD?

Or did you buy a phone and SIM with iD?

If it was a SIM only contract is your phone unlocked to all UK networks?

What phone is it?

Have the vulnerable team not said why there’s a delay?

Hey there @Captain, sorry to hear this. So is the issue only with calling people?

Can you receive calls at all?

Thanks,

Tyler
