Changed number, cannot send texts

I recently switched to iD and brought my phone number with me. I followed the correct steps as instructed to set up the eSIM and iPhone 16.

So far everything works fine…except sending sms messages. I can receive these but cannot send messages to non iPhone users. 

I have followed all advice I could find I. The community boards and wider searches but to no avail, including resetting the network.

Does anyone have any other ideas or suggestions as to how to fix this matter? It is causing quite an issue and makes my phone “not fit for purpose” in my current situation.
