Code being sent to ID mobile number which is not one I have access to as I am using my old number

I am trying to activate a new SIM. In order to do this I am being asked for my ID mobile number / name /D of B. The number accepted here is the new ID mobile number and a code is being sent to that. However, I am not looking to use this new number as I am doing a SIM only transfer and keeping my old number.

Therefore I cannot access the code and cannot seemingly make progress with the process.

Please advise.

 

A new physical iD SIM card is supplied already activated, @Tim Price

Welcome to the Community!

You can insert the SIM into the handset for the code.

Once the account is registered you can submit your number port and it will also update the number on your iD Mobile account once processed.
