How long can I delay activating a new sim?

I want to purchase two Black Friday ‘phone and tariff’ deals for my children, but not activate them until Christmas Day. 
 

Can I delay the activation of the deal to achieve this.

Unfortunately ​@Axel Foley, iD SIM products are only ever supplied already activated and are ready to use immediately. 

Activation cannot be delayed.

    All of our contracts begin charging from the moment of dispatch, so will be active from then. These dates cannot be delayed or frozen I’m afraid, and you will be charged as usual from the dispatch date, whether used or not.
