I have a PAC that doesn't expire until 12th Oct but when I provide this to iD mobile I get message that there isn't sufficient time to process this. But I've read that the switch can be done following day. This is frustrating as I don't want to be charged for another month on my old contract.

Hi @npatel, when you make a number change request, the PAC code will need to be valid for an extra few days to account for any potential number port delays that might crop up. (These are relatively rare but they can happen).

Just so that you’re also aware, you’ll only be charged for the period of time that the line rental is active on your previous network. For example if the line is active for a week into the current billing period, your final bill will be a week’s worth of usage.

I hope this helps.
