missing ID mobile number

I just signed up to a SIM only contract last night and received my welcome email.  Including the TRANSACTION NUMBER but no mention of a ID MOBILE NUMBER. According to iD Mobile “You can find your iD Mobile number on the receipt you received with your plan or in the welcome email we sent you the day after joining iD.”  

I tried downloading the app hoping it would be there - but it’s not. And… I need the iD mobile number to complete setting up my account.  

I really want to transport my old number across and I have a PAC code but I cannot complete the transaction until I determine the iD mobile number.  Thank you for any suggestions…Question to iD Mobile.. why do you not display the new mobile number as your Easy To Transfer information says…?

You can make a call to your family and friends to get your iD Mobile Number.

    I have a PAC code but I cannot complete the transaction until I determine the iD mobile number.  Thank you. Not as easy as you advertise it seems.

    Welcome to the Community!

    You can find your iD Mobile number by inserting the SIM and placing a call to a family or friend.

    The number they see will be the iD Mobile number.

    Is the id email reference number your new mobile number minus the 07

    Hi @Wessex18, it isn’t. Your mobile number would be listed on your original invoice or contract.

    I’m so confused I wanna buy a phone monthly but I’m trying to make a account first but it’s asking me for my id mobile number which I don’t have and i don’t know if I should just buy the phone first without making a account please get back to me soon as possible

    You will only be able to create an online account as an existing customer. 

    If you proceed with placing the order, you will be asked to provide further details for contact and confirmation. 

    You will be able to register for the online account once your order is accepted and you receive your mobile number.

    Got a contract phone with ID, only the mobile phone no SIM card, went and got a SIM card from carphone warehouse and we can’t set it up as has no mobile number nor details nothing.

    Hey there ​@Anna statham, sorry to hear that. What details are you needing please? Just the iD Mobile phone number?

     

    If you’ve received a replacement SIM card, you’ll also need to activate it.
