My number switch date was yesterday, but didn't insert SIM until today...?


Hi

Just taken out a contract with ID Mobile and submitted my PAC Code, etc in the process.

 

When I picked up the phone and SIM card from Curry’s yesterday (20th) afternoon, I left it until this morning (21st) to insert the card and configure the phone. I’ve now heard from my old provider that my contract is cancelled. ID has sent me a text saying that they’ve got my request to switch number but it says that my switching date was yesterday (20th) and they’ll send me a text saying when it’s done. No text yet. Do I just wait? Or do I need to resubmit PAC code request as the switching date they announced was actually yesterday?

Update - Live Chat agent confirmed it will be today, it’s from the time of installing the SIM.
