New ID Mobile SIM issues

hi  everyone,

 

I recently purchased a phone through mobiles.co.uk, and this came with an ID Mobile Sim.

 

Now I wanted to port  my number over, so I installed the SIM card in my phone to find out what the original number was so I could get it changed to mine.

 

I was surprised to see that my own existing mobile number came up as an option, I’m not sure if I put my telephone number in when I purchased the contract but I have not actually ported it over yet so I’m not sure how that’s possible.

So I selected it, it  shows as no signal and I can’t make calls using this

I’m quite confused, my old SIM card still has my telephone number on it, and this new ID Sim seems to have the same number as well so I don’t know how I can get this resolved.

If you didn’t port your number over you’ll need to port it.

I would advise that you contact our Live Chat Team for further assistance, however the link below will assist you further.

If the SIM isn’t working you may also require a new SIM card.
