no network to recieve text to vonfirm number

I am trying to register my id mobile number they gave me even tho i wanted to keep my old one. But when i type it in it says a code has been sent to my number but my phone hast got a sim registered or a network yet

    This day is getting worse my 2 year old has hid my new id mobile. Is there a find my phone feture built in. Also 

    Y origanl number with 02 stopped working today so now i am numberless with 1 phone lost and the other not working

    I have a cheap samsung duno yhe type am starting to think it doesnt work with e sims my old 02 phone has started to work again after cutting off gor 3 days but my new id mobile wont work at all
