No transaction number


Yesterday I activated my iD mobile eSIM and I want to transfer my old number from O2. I’ve already got my PAC code, however I need a “transaction number” to use the switching form. I’ve not received such a number in any of the emails from iD, other people say I’m supposed to get it in a “Welcome to iD” email but I’ve not had that either. I also signed up to the app and don’t see any mention of a transaction number anywhere. 
 

I was hoping to be able to transfer my number pretty quickly so I’m not having to pay for two separate plans at the same time, but it seems like this is a common problem here and I’m not sure what to do now.

Just hop onto the iD online Live Chat service, and give your PAC to an iD customer adviser, @leonardobishop.

Tell the 24/7 iD chatbot you want to “talk to a person” - you may need to repeat this a few times.

The iD advisers work between 9am - 8pm on weekdays.
