Number not transferred from old provider to ID Mobile.


Hi All,

Just wanted to check if anyone has had a similar experience to mine. 

I have requested to port my number from my previous provider, obtained the PAC code and been through the online process for this.

Switch day should have been Monday23rd. Didn’t happen. Tried twice more, Tuesday and Wednesday. Still hasn’t happened so am still waiting.  My number still works on my old EE sim. I have not yet had a ‘Your number has switched to ID Mobile’ text. 
 

Help please. Or do I just stay with EE?

Same for me .

Switch over day was yesterday 26th 

Only difference is my old EE sim has switched off now .

Just wondering what I can do now to make it happen asap

Are you still having issues with this?

 

Are you sure the iD Mobile SIM card is the one being used now?

 

Have you tried a network settings reset since?

Hi Tom,

Thank you for asking.  I had a chat with one of your colleagues yesterday.  He had to do something at your end to fix this. The number has just transferred across and all is working properly now.

So anyone with this problem, I suggest having a chat with ID mobile.

Could you give us a little more detail into what you mean by your number isn’t appearing to ID?

 

Is the number in the app the original one we gave? Is the number in your device settings the incorrect one?

Morning

My switch over day was supposed to be yesterday, Monday 17th Feb.  I received a text on Friday 14th Feb when I completed the online form with my PAC code from EE that my old telephone number would be transferred to iD mobile on 17th Feb.  

I completed the online forms to switch mine, my husband and my mother in law’s telephone numbers all on the same day.  The switch has happened for both of them but not for me.

I also didn’t receive an email as they did which said ‘Today’s the Day for your switch’.

Please would someone help me as to what I should do?  I’ve tried restarting my phone several times but no change.

Thank you. I got in touch through live chat and you're right the port hasn't successfully registered. All sorted now though and the switched happened on Wednesday.
