Overcommunication/email fatigue/feedback

Hey, just wanted to leave a little bit of feedback having switched over to ID in the past few months.

While communication is great, overcommunication results in email fatigue and missing important details due to the feeling of "oh great, not another one".

In addition although having opted out of marketing communications, some of the emails i receive are skirting the line between transactional and marketing.

long story short:
Great service, good signal.  Drastically reduce the email volume please.

Hi @MattN! I’m glad you’ve found the service and signal great. However, I’m sorry to hear your thoughts regarding our emails. I have fed this back to our Customer Experience team. Merry Christmas! 🎄

Hey Matt T, great name by the way 😉

as a software engineer i know what the other side of it is like, especially with management pushing to get more communication out.  Just i think sometimes they need to be reminded that when it comes to emails and communication its a case of diminishing return and they may actually turn power users away.

For example i now have a mail filter set up so that ID mobile have their own folder which i read at the end of the week rather than as they come in, its possible i’ll miss something important, but thats a risk thats weighed against just being overwhelmed.
