It says my number has switched to my old one but on the phone itself it hasnt changed

@Krlewi346  Morning to you have you received a confirmation that the porting has been complete from IDMobile?

Sometime a port can be done earlier than bthe due date but completed with a confirmation on date agreed.

Try turning off your phone for a minute and turning it back on to see if you number now registered in the phone. 

 

Number Ported Showing Wrong Number

When a number is ported to iD Mobile, but the wrong number is still showing, there are a few possible solutions depending on the type of phone being used.

For iPhone Users

  1. Try turning off iMessage (Settings > Messages)
  2. Restart the phone (by pressing and holding the on/off button)
  3. Tap Settings > Phone > My Number and confirm that it is correct
  4. If it is not correct, please enter the correct number
  5. Then turn iMessage back to On (Settings > Messages)
  6. Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and see if the correct number is displayed under Start new conversations from

For Android Users

  1. Try turning off RCS CHATS
  2. Wait a minute and turn it back on
  3. It should then ask you to verify your number
  4. Type in the number you want to use and it will connect and be fixed

Additional Troubleshooting Steps

  • Try resetting the network settings
  • Turn the phone off, remove the SIM, and then turn it back on after a few minutes
  • Check the phone number associated with the Messages app and edit it if necessary

If these steps do not resolve the issue, it may be worth contacting iD Mobile's customer support for further assistance.
