Phone number not transferred from old supplier

Can’t make calls or texts (SMS’s). But can receive them.

No idea what’s happened with my daughter’s phone.

I set up the transfer online so have no idea what’s happened.

And I’m currently being charged by both ID and my previous supplier.

Can anyone help? I’m disappointed I can’t pick up the phone and speak to someone.

Actually I’m now longer being charged by my previous supplier and they’ve completely shut my account down so I can’t get a PAC or STAC number

What date did you ask the switch to take place, @Fran500

At iD Mobile, there’s only online help & support. The main customer support channel is the online iD Live Chat service, where an adviser should be able to assist.

The iD advisors work between 9am - 8pm on weekdays - the iD chatbot works 24/7.

Okay @Fran500, that’s likely if you:

  1. Asked your previous provider for a PAC, and gave this to another service provider.
  2. Gave notice to cancel your account at your previous provider.

Your old service provider would normally keep your old mobile number available for 60-days, before they return it to their pool of mobile numbers for new connections.

How do you access the live chat with a person and not a chat bot?

Tell the 24/7 iD chatbot you want to “talk to a person” - several times.

🤞

Hi @Fran500

I’d recommend checking your device settings to ensure the number there is changed to the correct one.
