As an existing id customer I ordered a new SIM only plan under offer for existing customers. I understand I can keep my existing number for the new SIM. And while checkout it said details about keeping your number will be given on checkout. I completed the ordering process nothing I could find about keeping my same number. Now my question is        1. How can I ensure to keep my same number for the new SIM which is yet to arrive?

      2. How to end my current plan and not charged for two Sims.

  1. Will my existing plan be changed automatically if I keep the same number?

Hi @Roslyn  just so I understand, are you wanting to switch your current iD number over to the new iD SIM only plan? If so, then I am afraid that isn’t possible.

As you are not able to port your number within the same network (i.e. port from iD to iD), only upgrade; you can port your current iD number from your current contract to a Pay As You Go SIM. You would then be able to port this back to a new iD contract. This is otherwise known as a triangular port. Or you can cancel your current contract and keep the new one with a new number, or return the new plan. I hope this helps explain things, but if you have any further questions, please let us know. Thanks.

Thank you so much for your reply. I didn't know about this. So now that I have already ordered a new SIM. Could you please help me with the process of cancellation of the new order. Or would it be simpler to cancel my current contract(12 month) which was bought 3 months back? I just want a hassle free no loss process. Hope I am clear in my request.

Thank you
