set up of new iD phone

In transferring data from my old iPhone to my new iD iPhone I was asked to accept the latest IOS update which I did. It was taking over 2 hours to instal. , so I switched off then back on and my screen has said “reconnecting” for the last few hours. Can you help

I have just got back from Apple shop had exactly the same problem

They plugged into their laptop and pressed restore.. they said they had come across this a lot.. or plug into iTunes ..
