Hi @josdad11,

I understand, that’s a frustrating spot to be in.

To set up and log into your iD Mobile account, you normally need access to your iD Mobile number, because it sends a security code (OTP) to verify your login.

So if you don’t yet have access to the new number, you won’t be able to fully register or log in just yet.

Here’s what you can do:

First, check if your SIM/eSIM is active yet. Once it connects to the network and you can receive texts or calls, you’ll be able to complete registration.

If your number hasn’t ported over yet (from your old network), the PAC transfer may still be in progress  and logging in won’t work until that completes.

In the meantime, wait for the “Welcome to iD Mobile” message confirming activation/porting

Hi @josdad11,

Thanks for your message.

We can certainly move your number transfer if needed, however you also have the option of collecting a replacement SIM from any Currys store to speed things up.

Please let us know whether you’d like us to push the transfer back, or if you’d prefer to collect a new SIM and continue with the original transfer as planned.

We’re happy to help!

Hi @UltimateTaxis,

Unfortunately not. The PAC by text service is only available for UK mobile numbers. Any number that you are wanting to put on your iD Mobile plan would need to start with +44 / 0044.

Hi @Stanley78,

We'd recommend waiting until you've received your iD Mobile SIM before arranging your number switch.

This helps to ensure that everything is ready before the transfer takes place and prevents you from temporarily losing access to your number while you're waiting for the SIM to arrive.

Once you've received your SIM, you can then arrange the switch and we'll be happy to help if you need any assistance.

Regards,
